VYLDOR
Pre-seed · early conversations

Back the interface
that disappears.

Vyldor is a leather belt that measures your waist circumference continuously, from the tension in its own strap. No other wearable can, because no other wearable is worn tight around the middle. We’re raising €500,000 for an 18-month evidence plan.

Last week we deleted this product’s main feature. The buckle carried a removable earpiece until the arithmetic stopped working: 8.6 mm of usable cavity depth, and an acoustic nozzle aimed into the ear eats most of it. Ten shapes were drawn and measured. Every one that fitted had stopped being an earpiece.

It is the only evidence we have so far of how we behave when the numbers disagree with the plan. The whole teardown is public.

Why now

The bet in three lines.

01

A category people already trust

Belts are worn daily, unconsciously, by billions. Vyldor adds quiet intelligence to something familiar instead of asking people to wear one more gadget.

02

The phone does the heavy lifting

By using the phone for AI, maps and connectivity, the hardware stays simpler, cheaper and lighter than a standalone wearable — a leaner path to a first product.

03

Timing: calm tech is the reaction

As screens and notifications hit their limit, ambient, screen-free interfaces are where attention — and value — moves next.

Use of funds

Where the first round goes.

1
Prototyping & toolingValidate the strain gauge, the haptics and the buckle mechanism.
2
Firmware & companion appBring the core interactions to life on real hardware.
3
Design & industrial engineeringTurn the concept into a manufacturable product.
4

Forming — early conversations

We’d rather show you the real stage than a polished illusion. No physical hardware has been built, worn or tested yet; you’d be backing an early concept, its solo founder and a plan to recruit experienced hardware help. One thing worth knowing up front: the founder is under 18, so anything requiring a signature is handled with his parent as the legally responsible party.

This form is a non-binding expression of interest only. It is not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy securities, and it creates no obligation for you or Vyldor.
