One email address, one purpose

Who is responsible

Vyldor is an early-stage project based in the European Union. The data controller is the founder’s parent and legal representative, who is legally responsible for the personal data described here. The project is founded and run by Vojta Holeš, who is under 18, which is why the controller is his parent rather than himself.

For anything about your data, write to hello@vyldor.com. Email is the fastest route and gets a reply from a person, not a ticket system.

What is collected, and why

Your email address

Only if you submit the waitlist or the investor form. Used to email you about Vyldor and nothing else. Legal basis: your consent, given by submitting the form.

What you type in the investor form

Name, indicative ticket size and your note, if you fill them in. Used to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent.

Which page the form was on

A short text label such as the page name, plus the referring page if your browser sends one, so we know which part of the site people respond to.

Country

A two-letter country code, worked out by our host from the connection. Country only — never a city, an address or a precise location. It tells us where interest is coming from and cannot identify you on its own.

Standard server logs

Our host records requests, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. That is a legitimate interest and the logs are not used to profile anyone.

Where it is kept

Submissions go to two places and nowhere else: a form-handling service that emails us the notification, and a private Postgres database hosted in the EU that only we can read, behind a password. Both are processors acting on our instructions. Your IP address and browser user agent are deliberately never written to that database.

If you ask us to delete your data, it is removed from both. One email to hello@vyldor.com is enough and you do not have to explain why.

What is not collected

• No advertising or marketing trackers.
• No advertising networks, no heatmaps, no session recording.
• No cookies set by this site. Nothing is stored in your browser that would need a consent banner.
• Page views are counted by Vercel Analytics, which is why there is no banner: it sets no cookies, stores no IP address and builds no profile. It can tell us that a page was viewed, not who viewed it.
• No data is sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing. Ever.
• No profiling and no automated decisions about you.

Who else touches it

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests on our behalf and keeps server logs. Fonts are served from the site itself rather than from a third party, so no font provider sees your visit. Form submissions are forwarded to a private endpoint I control and are not passed to an advertising or data broker of any kind. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

How long it is kept

Waitlist addresses are kept until you ask to be removed, or until the project stops, whichever comes first. If Vyldor is abandoned, the list is deleted rather than sold or transferred. Investor enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and deleted on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw consent at any time, or object to how it is used. One email to hello@vyldor.com is enough, and no reason is required. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that does the same thing in one click. If you think the data is being handled badly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your own country. Under the GDPR that is your right wherever in the EU or EEA you live, and you do not have to go through us first.

The belt itself

No hardware exists yet, so no product data is being collected from anyone. For the record, the design rules are these: there is no always-on microphone, a voice session begins only when you physically remove the strap, and anything involving identity — recognising your walk, or putting a signal through your body — ships switched off and stays off until you enable it. When there is a product, it gets its own notice covering exactly what the belt and the app store, and where.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and anyone on the waitlist is told by email. It will not be changed quietly.
